The Backstory:
Arthur Antunes Coimbra, better known as Zico, is a Brazilian football coach and former player. He is also often called the "White Pelé" as he was a creative playmaker, with excellent technical skills and an eye for goal. As stated by Pelé himself, who is considered one of the greatest players of all time: "Throughout the years, the one player that came closest to me was Zico".
He represented Brazil in the 1978, 1982 and 1986 World Cups. Despite they did not win any of those tournaments, Zico won the hearts of millions of people.
Brazil won all of its games in the first round of the 1982 FIFA World Cup. But the lost the last game of the second round against Italy. But in Brazil nobody cared. When Zico, Socrates and their team of football gods returned home, the crowds acclaimed them as heroes!
Zico is considered to be the most skilled finisher and best passer of the 70s’ and 80s’ and performed the best free kicks of all time. He is able to strike the ball at any direction.
