The Backstory:
Jacqeline Kennedy is in London for the innaugguration of the memorial to her late husband.
Together wird her children, Caroline and John Jr., she watched the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace from the pavement.
Jackie Kennedy once said: "I'll be a wife and mother first, then First Lady."
Kennedy was well known for being a style icon – but the former First Lady was also a pioneer when it came to parenting. Ahe did everything to protect her children from the press, but she also made sure they engaged with the outside world and with other kids. Jackie wanted her children to be “independent" and thus was very strict. But at the same time she wanted them to have fun and simply be happy.
